One beloved singer-songwriter is looking to make the world a slightly better place during her upcoming concert tour by holding marriage ceremonies for some of her fans in need.

Lucy Dacus pitched the idea on X on Friday, July 11, just weeks ahead of kicking off her Forever is a Feeling tour across North America, asking her followers if anyone would be interested in having her marry them during the shows if she could "figure out a way."

"...just thinking about how there may be many people looking to secure those rights asap for whatever reason (!) or maybe money or logistics are getting in the way," she said, adding that she "would do this for free."

The two-time Grammy winner went on to explain that she's already ordained in the United States, but isn't sure "what's possible in Canada," where she also has several shows scheduled through the next few months.

Fans were quick to "volunteer" themselves and their friends to be wed, praising the "Night Shift" singer for her generosity.

"this is such a great idea oh my god," one gushed, while another exclaimed, "THIS IS SO CUTE STOP."

"stop i love u for this," another replied, with somebody else calling the idea "adorable af."

"imagine saying lucy dacus married u," they added.

Another follower praised the potential "unforgettable experiences" she might "create" on tour.

"omg lucy if you had told me this earlier i would’ve been scouting a wife a little harder," someone else joked, while others wondered, "does that include the matchmaking?"

"omg does the bride come included in the deal bcs if so i am in!!" another quipped.

One of Dacus' fellow officiants even volunteered their time, telling the singer, "i would love to participate!!!"
