Following a slew of show cancellations from HGTV this summer, the network has revealed a number of new and returning series that fans can expect to see in the next year.

On Thursday, Aug. 21, they detailed their upcoming lineup and revealed that “over 100” new episodes can be expected in 2025 and 2026, per a press release. The announcement comes after seven fan-favorite shows were canceled earlier this summer, in addition to reports that the network had lost almost half its viewers in the last 8 years.

While fans no doubt have plenty of programming to look forward to in the next year, here are a few intriguing takeaways from the network's latest announcement.

"Battle on the Beach did not get picked back up, which is sad, because it was like adult spring break," she shared in a July 1 episode of her Pap Smear Podcast.

However, fans who were looking for the show’s stars to switch teams in season 2 might be disappointed to hear that the format is staying the same.

Husband and wife duo Tarek and Heather Rae El Moussa will return as teammates to compete against Tarek’s ex-wife Christina Haack in the second installment of the house flipping competition series. However, this time around, “Christina will throw out the rule book and do everything she can to beat Tarek and Heather Rae,” according to the release.

Heather previously opened up to PEOPLE in June about how “fun” it would be if she were to team up with Haack against Tarek in season 2.

“I think that it would be super fun,” Heather told PEOPLE at the time. “I think that people would love to see Christina and I working together and beating my husband because he thinks that he could beat us, especially in a design contest.”
