Adam Sandler Reveals True Thoughts on Travis Kelce

Kansas City Chiefs superstar tight end Travis Kelce is set to make an appearance in Happy Gilmore 2 alongside superstar actor Adam Sandler. And before the movie officially premieres, it sounds like the football star already has Sandler's stamp of approval.

While it's not clear what exactly Kelce's role will be in the upcoming movie, which is a sequel to one of Sandler's most beloved films from the 1990s, he does have a confirmed role in the film, which is set to release next week.

During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight ahead of the film's July 25 release on Netflix, the actor and comedian had some high praise for Kelce.

"Travis is such a gentle, nice guy and funny as hell," Sandler said of the superstar tight end.

This appearance in the upcoming film will not be Kelce's first step into acting as he recently played a role in the FX drama series "Grotesquerie."

Sandler also had some kind things to say about Kelce's better half, pop sensation Taylor Swift, whom the superstar tight end has been publicly dating since about the fall of 2023.

"Taylor is so damn nice to my family," Sandler said to Entertainment Tonight after confirming that the 14-time Grammy winner had met his children. "My kids met Taylor just a bunch of times over the years, and she's ridiculously nice to them and warm."

While it's not clear how significant Kelce's role will be in Happy Gilmore 2, he will indeed make an appearance when the movie hits Netflix on July 25, nearly three decades after the original film hit movie theatres for the first time.
