According to noted insider MyTimeToShineHello on social media, the upcoming The Fantastic Four: First Steps will reference Doctor Doom in some way. The insider mentioned that the film will feature a scene in which world leaders are discussing how to deal with Galactus.

During this scene, one of the empty seats for the world leader sports the flag of Latveria. While it’s unknown if Doom will actually appear in the film, it seems like he will at least refer to him before he shows up in Avengers: Doomsday.

The cast of The Fantastic Four: First Steps is led by Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, andEbon Moss-Bachrachas Ben Grimm. The film also includes Ralph Ineson as Galactus and Julia Garner as Shalla-Bal/Silver Surfer. Additionally, Paul Walter Hauser, John Malkovich, and Natasha Lyonne have been cast in undisclosed roles.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps will be released in United States theaters on July 25, 2025. It has been confirmed that Pascal, Kirby, Quinn, and Moss-Bachrach will all return for Avengers: Doomsday, which arrives in December 2026.
