Caffey is the only member of the Go-Go’s who still lives in Los Angeles while Wiedlin and Schock live in the Bay Area. Bassist Kathy Valentine now resides in England outside of London while singer Belinda Carlisle lives in Mexico City and is busy preparing for the release of her new solo album,Once Upon a Time in California, on Aug. 29.

Tickets to the event, which will also feature Lynval Golding of the Specials and other special guests, are available to the public but they don’t come cheap. A general admission ticket is $250, while the exclusive VIP dinner event runs $1,000 and the VIP bundle is $1,800. The Los Angeles site of the event is a secret and is only revealed after the purchase is made.

Yet the money goes to a good cause. Musack was started in 2009 by writer/producer Donick Cary (whose credits include Late Night with David Letterman, The Simpsons, Parks and Recreation and Silicon Valley) to “give kids and teens a voice through music by providing guitars, drums, and support for music teachers-- wherever the need arises."
