Classic rock wife Sally Wood was spotted looking absolutely stunning at a press event in London — but notably without her iconic husband, Ronnie Wood, with whom she had been photographed just one day prior.

Mrs. Wood, 47, was all smiles as she posed on the red carpet in a gorgeous gold patterned gown and matching gold heels while attending a press night performance of Till the Stars Come Down at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in England’s capital city on July 9. She also donned some dark sunglasses, something that she has also done with her husband, 78, during public appearances to match — but the Rolling Stones guitarist was notably absent from the carpet.

The theatre company owner and her legendary husband were photographed in a rare red carpet appearance the London premiere of Johnny Depp’s next directorial project, a film called Modi, Three Days on the Wing of Madness. The couple, who appeared together at the Curzon Mayfair in support of the film, were all smiles and dressed to the nines as they held each other close for photos.

The pair even made some funny faces for the camera at the event and seemed to be in wonderful spirits — so it’s definitely curious that the musician didn’t attend the event with his wife, whom he married in September 2012. The pair also share two 9-year-old twin girls named Gracie Jane and Alice Rose, who were born just one day before the guitarist’s own birthday on June 1, 2016.

As for the show Mrs. Wood attended, Till the Stars Come Down is a play being produced by the National Theatre for a limited 13-week run. The official synopsis reads:

“It’s Sylvia and Marek’s wedding and you’re invited. On a scorching summer’s day, a tight-knit family gathers to celebrate. But as the drinks flow and the dancing begins, love is tested, loyalties are stretched, and long-held secrets are revealed. With laugh-out-loud hilarity and heart-wrenching tenderness, Till The Stars Come Down celebrates and confronts what it really means to be a family.”

Considering Wood’s wife’s role in the London theatre industry and community, it makes sense to see her looking gorgeous at a star-studded event like this — but we just wish we could’ve seen Ronnie take to the carpet with her.
