Available for a limited time at The Tropical Hideaway, Dole Whip Peach is a Disneyland exclusive. A regular size is under $8. Also, it is available in a 70th Anniversary collector’s cup for an additional charge.
The juicy, summer stone fruit version is an instant hit. First reviews commented that it has a strong peach note. Overall, it is more of a fresh fruit flavor versus an artificial gummi candy taste. Given the summertime launch, it is important to capture that seasonal freshness.
The immediate response had people running for that first spoonful. While there are swirls, floats and other fruit combinations, this peachy-good flavor captivated everyone.
The only negative commentary was the fact this dessert is not available at Walt Disney World. Over and over, people said, “Bring this to WDW please!!!” Even though people are jealous, the Florida theme park has a robust treat menu.
