Man blames flight attendant’s “beautiful eyes” for epic tantrum caught on video

An American Airlines passenger is unfortunately going viral for all the wrong reasons after throwing a tantrum on a plane. The aircraft was headed from Charlotte to Denver, and the incident occurred while it was sitting at the gate.

In an expletive-laden tirade, the unidentified man referred to himself as "the realist person on the East Coast," bragging that he was doing business with the rapper Kodak Black.

In videos posted to the platform X by a user who goes by the name John Armstrong, the passenger rambles on for at least twelve minutes about topics such as needing his phone charger so he can answer texts related to his million-dollar business.

The passenger also demands a shot, adding that if it's not Don Julio, he's "not drinking." He then states that he doesn't even like to drink.

At another point, the unruly passenger is seen saying, I'll pull up with 100 people right now and they'll surround this plane and it won't take off."

Throughout his tirade, the passenger taunted the flight crew and his fellow travelers, dropping f-bombs and telling them to "call the police."

In a second video, the passenger is seen complaining that he paid $53 for a Starbucks meal, calling it a "kids' meal." Shortly afterward, he says he is going to "light a blunt on this plane" before asking for a shot again, despite his earlier statement about not liking to drink.

The passenger was presumably addressing his complaints to a female flight attendant because at one point another passenger stands up and tells him not to "speak to women like that." In his defense, the disruptive man shouts that he has four sisters.

Later, the passenger apologizes to the flight attendant, saying he's sorry and that she's "very beautiful." He then seems to switch gears, telling her she'd "better never talk to a customer like that again" or she'll lose her job.

When he sits down, he mentions he believes in God and that everyone is making him act out of character. He also mentioned he had family drama earlier in the day.

Next, the man asks for a refund and repeatedly requests to sit in the pilot's seat, something he says he has always wanted to do. He even goes as far as to offer the someone $100 to help him do it. As the video closes, the passenger says he's going to move to first class and get everyone a refund.

In a subsequent video, the man says he'll leave and get a hotel if they give him a refund after demanding to be treated with respect. Shortly afterward, he says he'll sit down. He's then seen apologizing for the way he treated a man because he was unaware he was "the captain."

In his next complaint, the passenger complains about the way he's being spoken to by "people who make less than me" before once again demanding a complimentary first-class upgrade.

The man continues to whine about the treatment he's receiving, telling a flight attendant he expected better because she had "beautiful eyes." He added that she was the reason he was upset. He then insults her, stating she doesn't deserve anything she has on her body, especially her watch. He then tells the pilot he'll forget everything in exchange for a USB charger.

Although the videos end before the passenger left, American Airlines has confirmed the passenger was removed before takeoff.

The man was removed from the flight

American Airlines said the "disruptive passenger" was eventually yanked off the plane before takeoff. In a statement reported by the NY Post, the airline said, "The flight continued as scheduled following the removal. We thank our customers for their patience and apologize for the inconvenience."

There is currently no word on what became of the passenger or if he ever got his hands on a shot or a phone charger.
