Tracee Ellis Ross On Why She Only Packs Two Pairs Of Undies For Vacation

Tracee Ellis Ross is known for her love of travel, recently sharing that she will often only take two pairs of underwear with her on any given trip.

The PATTERN Beauty founder revealed the fun fact about herself on stage atTravel + Leisure’s annual World’s Best Summit on July 15.

“There’s always one bathing suit, a flip flop and one little dress I can roll up. And there’s always two undies,” Ross told the crowd and Travel + LeisureEditor-in-ChiefJacqui Gifford, whofollowed up with, “Two undies, that’s it?”

Ross went on to explain that she prefers to pack light and handwash her undies in the sink with shower gel or bar soap before rinsing and hanging them up on a towel rack to dry.

“If I’m gone for a month on this trip, you can’t pack a month’s worth of underwear,” Ross said. “How do you do that? They take up a lot of space.”

The chat comes ahead of Ross premiering her own travel show, Solo Traveling with Tracee Ellis Ross, on Roku July 25. She will serve as both host and executive producer.
