After six weeks of coupling up and closing off, season 7 of Love Island USA is coming to an end.
The contestants are preparing for their final few days in the colorful Fijian villa, more than a month after the season's premiere on June 3.

The American public will ultimately choose the winning couple. Before that, the finale will feature the four remaining couples going on final dates and professing their feelings for one another. After host Ariana Madix announces the winners, she'll present the couple with the grand prize of $100,000, and they'll have to decide whether or not to split it.

The new show follows season 6 contestants Leah Kateb,Serena Page,JaNa Craig,Kaylor Martin,Liv Walker,Kenny Rodriguez,Miguel Hariachi,Kendall Washington, Connor Newsum andAaron Evansas they live in L.A. one year after entering the villa. The series will also featureNicole Jacky, who has mostly stayed out of the spotlight since her split from Kendall last year.
In July, Madix told PEOPLE that she had recently caught up with JaNa and Serena to talk about the spinoff. The Vanderpump Rules alum compared it to her former reality TV show, saying that there were "a lot of similarities" between the two.
"It was just so good to see them, and they're so much fun, and I'm so glad they came out and got to experience a little bit of [Love Island] on this side of filming," Madix told PEOPLE.

Clarke Carraway and Taylor Williams on Love Island USA Season 7.Season 7 of Love Island USA has had no shortage of shocking twists and turns. Prior to the finale, Taylor Williams, who was an original cast member, andClarke Carraway, who was a Casa Amor bombshell, were eliminated on July 8 after receiving the fewest fan votes.

"When I spoke to Clarke for the first time, that spark and connection, we had something that I had never had before. A few days earlier on July 6, the villa was rocked when Cierra Ortega suddenly left due to a "personal situation."
The reason behind Cierra's departure was not specified on-screen, but was later revealed to be because posts resurfaced of her using a slur pertaining to Asian people. After returning home, Cierra released a video in which she addressed the comments and apologized for her actions.
"I want to first start by addressing, not just anyone that I have hurt or deeply offended, but most importantly, the entire Asian community," she said in a video posted July 9. "I am deeply, truly, honestly, so sorry. I had no idea that the word held as much pain as much harm, and came with the history that it did, or I never would have used it. I had no ill intention when I was using it. But that's absolutely no excuse, because intent doesn't excuse ignorance."
