Hello Kitty Island Adventure is Coming to Another Platform Soon

Hello Kitty Island Adventure will be bringing its adorable gameplay to the PlayStation 5 in early August. First launched as an iOS Apple Arcade exclusive back in 2023, Hello Kitty Island Adventure later expanded to PC and the Nintendo Switch at the start of 2025, giving more Sanrio fans the chance to experience the colorful world.

Similar to cozy games such as the Animal Crossing series, Hello Kitty Island Adventure offers an immersive island exploration featuring the likes of Hello Kitty, My Melody, and even lesser-known Sanrio characters. The game also releases monthly thematic updates that introduce new event activities and features, like opening a tourist shop in the City Classics update and ocean-themed cosmetics during the Under the Sea Celebration.

While developer Sunblink is making sure that Hello Kitty Island Adventure's Apple Arcade updates make it onto the game's PC and the Nintendo Switch versions, it's already gearing up for its PlayStation 5 launch on August 5, 2025. The PS5 version includes the eight main regions, a plethora of popular Sanrio characters that players can interact with, and a multiplayer feature to play with friends and family. Hello Kitty Island Adventure also has an ongoing Friendship Festival event featuring My Melody and Kuromi until August 23, so it's possible that PS5 players might get to experience it before it ends.
