World of Warcraft just revealed the Herald of Sa’bak mount for modern WoW and Sa’bak’s Favored pet for Classic, which players can now get by purchasing recurring subscriptions of at least six months. Inspired by the Egyptian-esque cultures of Uldum, gamers who purchase these World of Warcraft subscription offers or who are already on one will get them at no additional charge no later than July 31.
In 2018, World of Warcraft began offering free in-game items to those who purchase recurring subscriptions of six or more months, usually in the form of mounts and pets that cycle out every January and July. Some of them, like the Timbered Sky Snake from WoW’s six-month subscription offer in January, are inspired by the lunar Zodiac signs for each year, while the July set follows no particular theme.

The Herald of Sa’bak is a new Skyriding mount for modern World of Warcraft that looks like a powerful, winged crocodile-like creature, while the Sa’bak’s Favored is a baby pet version of the mount for WoW Classic’s progression servers. Players who buy a 6- or 12-month recurring subscription offer can now get both of these items for free, though they can also be purchased individually for $25 and $10 respectively. The cash shop also has the matching Sa’bak’s Blessing pet for modern WoW and Envoy of Sa’bak flying mount for Classic, but these collectibles are not included in the subscription offer.
