Big Sean Debunks Viral Theory He Had Ab Implants: ‘Unfortunately Mine Are Real’

In Sanburg’s initial video, he added several photos and clips of the rapper’s torso, saying Big Sean, 37, has "extremely defined abs" that appear to be "sitting on top of a bubble gut.” Sanburg continued to analyze the musician’s body by referencing a photo of the rapper from 2015.
The influencer ultimately reached his own conclusion that Big Sean had either received ab etching or had taken steroids, before adding, regardless of Big Sean’s efforts, he has "very interesting genetics."
After Sanburg’s video began to circulate, Big Sean replied directly in the comment section, denying Sanburg’s claims.

He then joked that when he’s out of shape, he “just happen[s] to look like a chewed up tootsie roll.”

He then added another two comments: “So just to be clear" and "No nothing."
In a follow-up video, Sanburg revealed that the rapper had also messaged him directly, and he shared a photo of the message.
“I commented on your video, this s--- is funny cause thats the way i was made,” Big Sean wrote, before adding, “i just gained Dad weight n had to crack down on working out as i got older bro.”
“So my body has gone thru a lot lol. No surgery though.” Big Sean concluded: “Cant believe i have to explain myself.”
Big Sean credited his changing physique to becoming a father after welcoming his son Noah Hasani in November 2022.

“He's changed me in so many ways,” Big Sean told PEOPLE in April 2024 about Noah. “I'm still learning to be even more intentional with everything and just being in the moment."
