The recent beta build for Genshin Impact has revealed that the Event Banners for Version 5.8 will feature Fischl and Xingqiu as its 4-Star characters. The final patch of the Natlan era will feature some important reruns (such as Mualani), but it will also introduce the first Nod-Krai character to Genshin Impact. Ineffa is intended to be an Electro-Charged Support by transforming the reaction into a more powerful version. As such, most of Version 5.8 is themed around Electro-Charged from a gameplay standpoint.
Both the Spiral Abyss and the Stygian Onslaught in Genshin Impact cater to Ineffa in Version 5.8, with players having a notable disadvantage if they don't possess a properly built Electro-Charged team. Thankfully, the Natlan era has introduced a fair few alternatives to Ineffa in this regard, with Ororon and Ifa being the most notable examples.

According to HomDGCat, the latest beta build updated the combat trials for Fischl and Xingqiu in Genshin Impact, ultimately tipping off dataminers that they would be the featured 4-Stars of Version 5.8.

This makes him highly likely to feature on the Event Banners, and given his synergy with Chasca and Citlali, he may end up running opposite Xingqiu, Fischl, and Ineffa.
Another possible candidate to show up in Version 5.8 could be Ifa, as Iansan established a precedent that 4-Stars need as little as two updates before they become eligible for a rerun. Either Sucrose or Ifa in Genshin Impact would perfectly complement Fischl and Xingqiu, thus creating a budget Electro-Charged team for players to tackle endgame content with. Ultimately, it's important to remember that only six banner characters have been determined for Version 5.8, and that it may be weeks until HoYoverse officially confirms the rest. Version 5.8 is expected to launch on July 30 and will last until September 10.
