Square Enix has announced the Life is Strange Collection for PlayStation 5, releasing on October 2, 2025. This Life is Strange bundle will include all five full games, along with all their DLCs.
The Life is Strange franchise began in 2015, when players were introduced to Max Caulfield, a young girl who discovers her ability to rewind time, allowing her to make choices that alter the course of events. Max’s narrative adventure takes players on a captivating and emotional journey, exploring themes of friendship, guilt, and the consequences of certain decisions. In 2017, the developer released Before the Storm, a prequel to the main story, with a new dialogue system and an expanded narrative that further showcased the series' storytelling strengths. The franchise continued to grow over the years, spanning five titles in total, with the latest one, Double Exposure, released in 2024. Beyond the games’ narrative impact and engaging gameplay, the Life is Strange series has been praised for its LGBTQ+ representation—especially its positive and respectful portrayal of queer characters and relationships. Now, the developer has good news for PS5 players.
